My 3rd Annual Film Awards: The Longlists

Here are the contenders for my 2013 film awards. Each longlist will be narrowed down to 5 nominees (except for Best Picture, which will have 10). This will be done, category by category, over the following weeks, until the final nominees are announced on February 16th. The awards will be given out Oscar morning–March 2, 2013. I’m damn excited. I hope you are, too.

(Oh, and the posters included are purely for illustrative purposes. Don’t take them as portents of what’s going to win what.) – (WARNING: The image I used for Best Makeup (after Best Costume Design) is very graphic.)
